Outcomes & Benefits
- Data of around 23,439 Indian Origin Academicians, Scientists and Ph.D scholars have been collected largely from foreign universities in USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Presently, data collection from BRICS countries is being attempted.
- Outcome of this project has resulted in 2 PhDs and 7 M.Tech thesis. 8 major project teams comprising of 32 B.Tech students at Punjab Engineering College worked in this project. 8 Research Papers have been published in SCI/SCIE journals and in conferences proceedings. The indigenously developed crawler entitled Khoj has been copyrighted.
- The developed MIS would help Indian academicians and students to collaborate with experts at Foreign Universities. Further, it may lead to joint research projects, research guidance, consultancy projects and also towards developing solutions for societal problems.
- Young Indian academicians, scientists, students and entrepreneurs can get acquainted with their peers to explore various opportunities related to the Government of India initiatives like CYAN, Startup India, Skill India, Atmanirbhar Bharat etc.
- *This MIS has data till September 2019 and shall be updated in a dynamic mode. Every care has been taken to provide the authenticated information collected from the websites of foreign academic universities available in public domain Errors/omissions, if crept in as a part of database development may kindly be reported to the project team.
